Cost of college went up for all students at Flagler College-St Augustine

Tuition and fees rose 3.6 percent for 2018-19 at Flagler College-St Augustine, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida students paid $18,950 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $750 more than the $18,200 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 703 students received grants or scholarships totaling $6.5 million and 507 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.9 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,608), 2,418 students used grants or scholarships totaling $20.6 million, and 1,620 students took out $10.7 million in federal student loans.
