August 16, 2021 – National Association of Counties (NACo) President Larry Johnson on August 13 appointed Flagler County Board of County Commissioners Vice Chair Joe Mullins and GIS Manager Darlene Pardiny to three separate committees “to build a talented and committee leadership team for NACo.”

County of Flagler: Relocation, temporary closures signal the start of big things for the Flagler Public Library
August 24, 2021 – The Flagler County Bunnell Branch Library is moving – but not too far. It will be closed from August 28 through September 6, and will reopen on September 7 at its new location in the Marvin’s Garden Plaza, 4601 E. Moody Boulevard, Suite F1.

County of Flagler: Engineering Department has 25 projects on FDOT’s Five-Year Work Program Project Priority List
August 20, 2021 – Flagler County presented a list of 25 projects to the Florida Department of Transportation for inclusion on its Five-Year Work Program Project Priority List that includes paving, resurfacing, and reconstruction of roadways, as well as traditional bridge replacement among other projects – many of which are in the western reaches of the county.

Flagler County: Construction to begin July 26 for pedestrian bridge over State Road 100 to link network of trails
July 19, 2021 – Construction work for a long-anticipated pedestrian bridge crossing over State Road 100 will begin July 26. When completed, the bridge will link the Lehigh Trail, Old Kings Road sidewalk, conservation lands, and the Flagler County’s Bulow “Parcel D” property.
