St. Johns County’s 19 coaches earned an average salary of $52,476 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the 13th lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Florida post-secondary schools during 2022.

St. Johns County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $56,964 on average in St. Johns County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $48,436.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
