2021 has 4.7% of St. Johns County residents unemployed

St. Johns County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 6,013 people out of the 265,724 living in St. Johns County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in St. Johns County has decreased compared to the 5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in St. Johns County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 123,199 people who had a job during that time, 716 were employed in the Armed Forces and 122,483 belonged to the civilian labor force.
