Planning and Zoning Board approves new regular meeting time | City of St. Augustine
The City of St. Augustine Planning and Zoning Board has voted to change their standard meeting time to 1:00pm. Their next regular meeting will be held January 3, 2023 at 1:00pm.
“Due to the amount of items on the agendas and length of the meetings, the Board feels it will be more efficient to start their meetings at 1:00pm, instead of 2:00pm,” explained Amy Skinner, Planning and Building Director.
The Planning and Zoning Board (PZB) meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 1:00pm in the Alcazar Room of City Hall, located at 75 King Street. It is a volunteer citizen board, appointed by the City Commission, and is the State mandated land planning agency for the City. The Board reviews and grants zoning exceptions and variances as provided in the Zoning Code, hears appeals of any decision of the Planning and Building Department, and makes recommendations to the City Commission regarding the rezoning of land or changes to the Comprehensive Plan.
