The Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber of Commerce closely monitors and analyzes local metrics to make ensure our community is prepared for the future. Consider that by 2030, Flagler County may have as many as 160,000 total residents (current population is approx. 125,000). With a growing population, the Chamber urges consideration of where is the future energy going to come from to service new residents?
This is why the Chamber fought for the unanimous approval of a 261,000 panel solar farm partially located in Western Flagler County. We must diversify how and where we generate energy. Our partners at Florida Power & Light are helping lead the way, as featured in the October 2022 edition of EVOLVE Magazine. Click here to read the article.
