Board Members also signed a proclamation marking September 28, 2022, as “Dads Take Your Children to School Day.”
Finally, the Board issued proclamations declaring September as “Suicide Prevention Month” and “Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.”
Following the proclamations, Board members used the Spotlight portion of the evening to congratulate the group of Flagler School educators for completing the Aspiring Leaders program through the North East Florida Educational Consortium. This is a 40-hour program designed for experienced educators who have shown leadership potential and are seeking the possibility of becoming school leaders.
