Flagler County Public Schools issued the following announcement on December 2.
We are currently hiring qualified teachers to fill immediate classroom openings at all of our schools. Flagler Schools offers the highest teacher pay in the region, with an average annual salary of $48,363. Our generous benefits package includes insurance, state retirement, and paid time off. Our educators are encouraged to pursue continual professional development, as we believe that the special talents and strengths of all of our teachers have a positive impact on student achievement.
Flagler Schools is holding a Virtual Teacher Recruitment Fair on Thursday, January 6th, from 4:00–7:00pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to interview one-on-one with school administrators, and job offers will be made during the event. Registration is required to attend—please use the Virtual Teacher Recruitment Fair registration link provided below to complete this process. Once registered, applicants will be emailed a link to the Teacher Recruitment Fair Zoom meeting, and should be prepared to provide their résumé upon request.
If you would like to learn more about our career opportunities before attending the Virtual Teacher Recruitment Fair, an optional Virtual Open House will be held on Tuesday, December 14th, from 4:00–6:00pm. Join us online to connect with our Human Resources team, view a presentation, and participate in a Q&A session. If you are interested in attending, please use the Zoom meeting link provided below. Registration is not required to attend the Virtual Open House.
