Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber of Commerce: Junior Chamber Competes in UNF Mednexus Innovation Challenge

Jcclogo

Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on November 4.

In front of a packed house at City Hall, 6 teams of high school students presented their ideas for medical innovations, “Shark Tank-style,” to a panel of five judges. The Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber’s “Junior Chamber” was one of the six finalists.

The Junior Chamber’s team, Endovelicus, was pitched by Flagler-Palm Coast High School students: Bryan Soudrain, Dylan Long, Daniel Skinner, Dani Nieves and Shellsea Ibarra. Their idea is to develop a medical patch that attaches to a person so it can track data and, over time, generate health forecasts for the user. The benefit of their idea is that it can help users treat illness, especially chronic illnesses, using data and technology.

A special thank you to the University of North Florida and the City of Palm Coast!
