City of St. Augustine issued the following announcement on October 20.
On Thursday, October 28, starting at 9:00am in The Alcazar Room of City Hall, located at 75 King St., the City of St. Augustine Planning and Zoning Board will hold a special meeting to discuss a proposed ordinance to implement the current Mobility Plan as defined in the Transportation and Mobility Element of the Comprehensive Plan and to establish a Mobility Fee. Residents and business owners with questions about how the Mobility Fee might impact them are encouraged to attend.
The Mobility Plan includes parking and shuttle alternatives, pedestrian and bicycle improvements that will aid in the reduction of vehicular traffic and congestion in the downtown area, and complete street design recommendations to improve quality of life and livability conditions for residents.
The Mobility Fee will serve as a mechanism to fund improvements identified in the Mobility Plan. View the Transportation and Mobility adopted plan element herePlanning and Zoning Board to convene special meeting for Mobility Planning.
