The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach announces change to First Coast Cultural Center

Ponte Vedra Beach - July 27, 2021 - Reflecting its expanding reach into Northeast Florida,

The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach (CCPVB) has changed its name to First Coast Cultural Center.

Previously located for more than 25 years at 50 Executive Way in Ponte Vedra Beach, the Cultural Center now has offices at 3972 3rd St. S. in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. The nonprofit conducts arts and music programs in local First Coast communities including Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Augustine, Nocatee, and within St. Johns County, Fla. schools.

According to Donna Guzzo, President and Executive Director, the artists, volunteers and participants in the center’s many programs are from throughout the First Coast. “The Cultural Center Board of Directors felt that a name change was appropriate given our strong presence in the region and we expect our outreach to continue to broaden,” said Guzzo.

The nonprofit 501(c)(3) has served the community as a gathering place to learn, experience, and appreciate the arts and culture in its many forms, and provides opportunities for adults, children and families through classes, exhibits, programs, services, activities, and memberships open to the local community, and beyond.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, with after hour appointments available. For more information, contact Donna Guzzo at (904) 280-0614 ext. 1201, email    dguzzo@ccpvb.org. Visit the website at https://firstcoastculturalcenter.org.
