Of the 4,841 people living in Sawgrass in 2019, 56.1 percent (2,717) were women and 43.9 percent (2,124) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Palm Coast Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,436-to-1,180. In the 65 and over age range, there were 900 females and 640 males.
