Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Saint Johns River State College

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Saint Johns River State College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida residents paid $2,830 to attend the four-year public institution this year – $9 less than the $2,839 charged for 2017-18.

Non-residents paid 265.6 percent more than residents this year, or $10,347. Their price tag was unchanged from $10,347 in 2017-18.

About 99 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Florida residents. And about 1 percent are residents of other states.

Data shows 67 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 381 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.2 million and 75 students took out student loans totaling more than $338,202.

Including all undergraduates (7,503), 2,328 students used grants or scholarships totaling $10.2 million, and 810 students took out $5.1 million in federal student loans.
