On Thursday, May 15, former Creekside High School standout Devin Hammonds’ current collegiate team the Tampa Spartans lost 0-5 against the Auburn Montgomery Warhawks in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field at 5 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Auburn Montgomery Warhawks in the tournament.

The Tampa Spartans’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 2 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field.
