Flagler County Public Schools issued the following announcement on March 24.

VPK registration is now open for the 2022–23 school year and the 2022 summer program!

Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is a free educational program offered by the State of Florida, designed to prepare children for kindergarten. VPK gives students the opportunity to develop skills that will be needed for success in school and life.

In order to be eligible for VPK, a child must be four years of age, on or before September 1st, 2022. Families may choose either the school year program or the summer program, which is offered before the start of the students’ kindergarten year.

Please visit the Voluntary Pre-K page to learn more about our programs and the registration process. Registration for Flagler Schools VPK programs should be completed online. Families can visit the New Student Enrollment page to register.

For more information about the VPK programs at Flagler Schools, please contact the Early Childhood Education Center at 386-437-7584.
